# Announcing Digital Object Gateway beta release

Beta verion of Digital Object Gateway is now available here: [https://beta-dog.clarin.eu/](https://beta-dog.clarin.eu/)  
It is a webservice providing User Interface over [DOG Python library](https://github.com/clarin-eric/DOGlib/tree/master) which enables to resolve referenced resources from a metadata PID. Three core functionalities are:

- sniff - checks if input PID points to a registered repository

- fetch - fetches all PIDs of referenced resources in the metadata

- is pid - checks if input string is a DOG parsable PID

The list of supported repositories will be consecutively expanded, with CLARIN B-centre repositories having the uttermost priority.
