# Federated Content Search v2.2 specification

The [latest official spec of the FCS protocol](https://www.clarin.eu/content/federated-content-search-core-specification) has been approved by the Technical Centres Committee. The main change is the addition of an endpoint-specific examples section. This allows the FCS aggregator to show some suitable suggestions for each endpoint that provides an example.
