# If I deliver CLARIN metadata today, can you make my metadata available to the broad public?

Yes - bringing all metadata descriptions together (“harvesting”, see #harvesting) and making them searchable (“indexing”) is an important part of the infrastructure that CLARIN is building. When you provide CMDI metadata CLARIN can [harvest it](https://vlo.clarin.eu/data/) and make it available via the [Virtual Language Observatory](https://vlo.clarin.eu) (see #vlo).
