Lancaster University not releasing attributes

After some interaction with a user and the tech support of Lancaster University it turns out their Identity Provider is by default not releasing any attributes to “unknown” Service Providers:

We don’t currently release any attributes to unknown SPs. We’re quite happy to add them on request though.

Needs to be figured out how and if groups of service providers can be added as a group.

there seems to be some - probably - similar behaviour among IdPs from Germany (they are happy to only release eduPersonTargetedID - which, they say, goes back to discussions in 2016; still, eduPersonTargetedID has been cursed with it’s own problems and has been deprecated).
