As many visiting here will know, CLARIN hosts a monthly ‘open hour’ on CLARIN technology that anyone can join virtually, and ask our developers and infrastructure specialists anything.
To extend this format, we would like to try adding a “non-binding” theme to each open hour. The idea is that someone from the team will give a short introduction on the chosen theme, after which there will be time for questions and discussion on that theme as well as any other questions.
With this topic we would like to get your input on possible themes for upcoming open hours. It can be anything related to the CLARIN infrastructure, both the central services, standards etc as well as the operation of the various types of centres.
Just write the theme in a comment below, and optionally add a motivation and some questions that you may already have. Suggestions without specific questions or a motivation are also more than welcome!
The next technical open hour will be on 5 February 2024. Details will be announced on the CLARIN website and on the Centre news mailing list.
