Request for the CLARIN centres working with intangible Cultural Heritage data: Opportunity to contribute to the ECHOES Workflows in SSHOMP
As part of ECHOES (WP7.2.1), Giorgia Lo Nigro is currently working on the documentation of workflows in the Cultural Heritage domain within the [DARIAH SSH Open Marketplace (SSHOMP)](https://eur03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fmarketplace.sshopencloud.eu%2F&data=05|02|i.vanderlek%40uu.nl|8193d07dcb014294b6ff08deb007596a|d72758a0a4464e0fa0aa4bf95a4a10e7|0|0|639141742790085108|Unknown|TWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D|0|||&sdata=uKoP85R2Utzwt09ZWQ%2F1eigOkSQ%2Bh6s4OI6kF9UhvKc%3D&reserved=0 "Original URL:

For reference, an example of a workflow already documented in the Cultural Heritage field can be consulted here:
In this context, Giorgia Lo Nigro would like to invite researchers and professionals working on cultural heritage—both tangible and intangible—to share their workflows. This includes, for example, archaeologists, art historians, archivists, musicologists, curators, conservators, and more broadly anyone involved in the production, analysis, or preservation of cultural heritage data.
The contribution process is structured as follows:
-
You may contact Giorgia Lo Nigro to arrange a short online meeting, during which she will present the SSH Open Marketplace platform in more detail and register your workflow; alternatively, if the information is already clear, you can describe your workflow directly in a copy of the SSHOpenMP_workflow_template and submit it to Giorgia Lo Nigro by email for review and publication.
-
She will follow up if any clarification or additional information is needed.
-
She will take care of the integration of the workflow into the SSHOMP.
-
Once validated by you, the workflow will be published with full attribution to its author(s).
All validated workflows are published on DARIAH SSH Open Marketplace (SSHOMP), a European platform providing access to tools, publications, datasets, tutorials, and workflows. Each entry is described with rich metadata and assigned a persistent URL, ensuring visibility, citability, and reuse at both European and international levels.
If you have any questions or would like to contribute, please contact Giorgia Lo Nigro (giorgia.lonigro@univ-tours.fr). She remains at your disposal and will be happy to assist you throughout the process. If you consider that another colleague might be interested in contributing, do not hesitate to suggest their name.
