Just noticed on the trello board of DataCite there is an interesting feature request for better support for multilingual resource metadata, see:
I don’t know whether this is available as a metadata field, but it would be useful to make a distinction between different types of multilingual resources
- parallel resources
- resources with code switching
- comparable resources
I could be wrong, but this is probably too domain specific for DataCite. Within CLARIN (e.g. Core Components - work in progress) this is definitely something we should have and try to standardise on as much as possible.
