How do I resolve a DOI?

A DOI exists of 2 parts:

  • a prefix (e.g. 10.5281)
  • a suffix (e.g. zenodo.1639549)

The official way of refering to a handle is:

doi: + prefix + / + suffix

e.g.:

doi:10.5281/zenodo.1639549

To resolve such a handle (=make it a clickable link that redirects to the resource itself) use the following formula:

https://doi.org/*prefix*/*suffix*

e.g.: Tour de CLARIN Volume One
